Since I write about tea, I try a ton of products but there are few brands and products that I always end up coming back too or restocking and I’ve decided to share one of those with you today. The blend I wanted to share with you today is by David’s Tea, which is a Canadian company that’s why more affordable than Teavana. Weirdly enough, I don’t think I’ve written about them before, but I’ve been drinking their tea for quite some time. They have a lot of great teas but my ultimate favorite is their Glitter & Gold tea. First off, how cute is that name?!
During the Holiday season, they were selling this blend in this limited edition tin. I am not sure if it’s still available but I loved the packaging on this. I love simple and metallic packaging. It’s a an aesthetic isn’t?! In the tin, you get about 3.5 ounces, which is a large amount of tea. I would say it’s probably enough for a months worth of tea, you are getting great value for you money.
This blend not only tastes good but it has some cute AF glitter stars in it. As the tea is steeping, the sprinkles dissolve and they leave your tea shimmery, I KID YOU NOT! IT’S FREAKING COOL. I tend to steep this for about 4-5 minutes to get the full flavor. This tea is on the lighter side it’s more like darjeeling than a black tea. The flavor of this is sweet with a hint of spice, there is no need to add a sweetener. The tea really does make you feel warm and fuzzies, you know what else makes you feel warm and fuzzies? These posts! This tea is a great afternoon pick me up, it has some caffeine but not a ton.
Are their any tea blends, you keep finding yourself go back too?
