In case you’re new here, hi my name is Becca, and I am obsessed with Breakfast blends. I’ve tested English, Irish, Russian breakfast blends and more. So when I briefly visited Canada this summer and discovered there was a Canadian Breakfast blend, I had to add it to my collection. I know it’s been a long time since summer, but hear me out my tea cabinet collapsed, so everything was a mess for the longest time, and I’m just getting it fixed now.
I love the weird oval shape of this packaging. I thought it was totally different and it really caught my eye. I appreciate how there are scenes that depict the different areas of Canada including where I picked it up, Niagara Falls! I like the images because they all seem to blend well together and it’s pleasing to the eye.
When steeped this was medium to dark amber, which makes sense since it is a black tea blend. When I tasted this blend, it reminded me of my favorite blend in the entire world, Yorkshire Gold! This is another extraordinarily robust and strong tea flavor that would be great to drink in the morning and to start off your day. It has earthy vibes and could use some sweetener, I do recommend picking this up at your favorite tourist trap in Canada.
What’s your favorite breakfast blend?
