Tea content is back, and I hope you are as excited as I am for tea season! Since the holidays are coming, I couldn’t imagine a better early gift for your favorite tea lover than a tea advent calendar. When Adagio reached out about testing out their first ever Advent calendar, I jumped at the opportunity! I received this product free of charge for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own. This post is sponsored by Adagio tea.
The packaging is awesome for this product, it has a “Merry Christmas” in a script font in red as well as a reindeer with ornaments on its antlers. It’s super cute, and I love how festive it is. This calendar has 24 days of tea goodies. The website does not specify what types of tea, but I’m assuming it includes all varieties. The drawers are easy to pull out, but some are a bit harder to open than others. Upon opening up the first few days, I learned that you actually get a teabag for each day, which I really loved. When it comes to tea, loose leaf often wins in flavor, but in this case, tea bags win for convenience. Also realistically, you are spending $29 and getting a product every day for 24 days, which works out to $1.20 for high-quality tea every day.
TIP: If there is a flavor that you know you won’t like, pick up a cheap mug and give it to a co-worker or maybe your personal trainer! Don’t forget to fill the mug with some festive candy ( or leftover Halloween candy) as well!
Here’s what in the calendar :
Day 1- Gingerbread: I was super excited to see this calendar start with a fun and seasonal flavor.
Day 2-Vanilla Rooibos: This is one of my favorite Adagio blends! It’s sweet and warming, making it ideal for fall or winter.
Day 3- English Breakfast: A classic blend of tea and another blend I drink on a daily basis. Once you try this for breakfast, your life is going to be changed.
Day 4- Chestnut Tea: This is something that I’ve never tried, but it looks wonderful! I love festive black teas!
Day 5-Dragonwell: This is another blend that I have not heard of it and it’s green tea that promises to be smooth, sweet and delicate.
Day 6- Blueberry White: I have not tried this flavor either, and I can’t wait to give it a go. This is a white tea with blueberries!
DISCLAIMER: There’s gonna be a ton of teas that I have not tried so I will continue to repeat myself saying I have not drunk them before!
Day 7- Citrus Green: Another flavor that I have not tried but it sounds lovely! This is a green tea with lemon and lime!
Day 8- Pumpkin Spice Tea: I am an apple cider kind of girl, but I am pumped to test this blend out! This is a black tea with ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and pumpkin flavor.
Day 9-Silver Needle: Silver Needle is a luxurious type of tea that is made with tea buds from the early harvest. I have not tried Adagio’s version of this tea, but I’ve tried Silver needle before, and it’s sooo smooth and light. It’s pretty pricey, so I am so excited to see in here.
Day 10- BAE aka Earl Grey: Earl Grey is one of my favorite blends of tea ever! I love Adagio’s version!
Day 11- Wuyi Oolong: Oolong is a type of tea that I am starting to explore, and I think this will be a great way to test it. This specific blend grows on top of Mount Wuyi, China.
Day 12- Golden Yunnan: This is a black tea that I’ve never tried before. The leaves are amber vs. the typical darker color, and it claims to pack a peppery flavor.
Day 13-Peppermint: Peppermint tea is excellent and caffeine-free. I also found that peppermint tea helps me with an upset belly so you might want to enjoy this blend after Christmas dinner.
Day 14- Cranberry Tea: This is a black tea that incorporates an American Thanksgiving favorite: Cranberries. I have never tried this blend, and it looks incredible!
Day 15- Foxtrot: You might remember this tea from here! This a herbal tea that has chamomile, peppermint, and rooibos. I love this tea for a rainy day or before bed.
Day 16- Jasmine Pearls: I have not tried this exact tea, but I’ve tried a similar blend from Adagio. These are super fun because you throw 2-3 pearls in the water and as they warm up, they unfurl! They are totally Insta-worthy!
Day 17- Chai Tea: I am not a huge fan of chai tea, but many of my friends are! Chai is a bit too spicy for me, so this will probably go to a friend who loves it!
Day 18- Candy Apple Tea: I saw this and screamed “Whattt”! I have never heard of candy apple tea before, so I am so excited to test this out. This tea is a black tea that has apple, cinnamon and caramel flavors.
Day 19- Candy Cane Tea: I have not tested the Adagio version of this, but I am a sucker for peppermint tea. This is a black tea with candy cane, pieces, and peppermint flavor.
Day 20- Chamomile: A classic tea blend. I have not had camomille recently but lately, I’ve been struggling to sleep. So, I can’t wait to see how well this works! This Chamomile is sourced Egypt!
Day 21-Oolong Goddess: This is another variety of oolong, and it is the most famous variety of oolong.
Day 22- Peach Oolong: This is another cool variety of oolong that I have never tried before, and it has the flavor of summer peaches. So if you are dreaming of warmer days, this blend will be your best friend.
Day 23- Green Popcorn: This blend sounds soooo cool, it a Genmai Cha tea with green leaves and popped rice, which is similar in flavor to popcorn. I’ve never tried this one before, but I’m sure the nutty flavor is fantastic!
Day 24- Fruit Sangria: I love a good cocktail, so I am so excited to try a blend inspired by one of my favorite summer drinks! This is herbal and berry-infused tea with a base of hibiscus so it will be a beautiful wine color when steeped.
What blend are you the most excited about?
