I often find myself struggling to be productive during weekend, a rainy day or even a snow day. Sometimes, I want to be productive but with minimal effort. Anyone else? Usually I just want to sit down with a cuppa and relax but then I feel like I’m wasting a day. So here are 5 ways to be productive when you don’t really feel like it:
Clean Out Your Inbox
I recently did this and OMG, It felt amazing. I went through and deleted so many emails that were unnecessary and taking up a ton of space. Seeing my email count go from over 1,000 to a merely 30 something was satisfying AF.
Clean out an area/space.
I found myself with a few free days and I cleaned my entire room, working on a different section each day. My favorite things to clean was 100% my wardrobe/closet. There were so many items of clothing that I’ve kept for years and years and they no longer fit me or suited my personal style, so I donated them to charity! It feels so good to donate clothing and give back.
This is the perfect opportunity to waste time making that one recipe you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t made yet. This might be also be a great day to try some crockpot recipes.
Honestly there is nothing more relaxing with a cup of tea and a book. If you’re looking for some book inspiration, check out my book bucket list.
