I was exploring the teas in a shop and I came across an Edith Grey tea and I was confused as well as fascinated. I had no clue what an “Edith Grey” versus a regular “Earl Grey”. So I knew I needed to review this unique tea. So let’s get into it!
The packaging is super chic and I really liked the font and color combinations of it. However, the tea inside is loose leaf and the packaging is a clear bag. So I had to pour the tea out and into a plastic bag for storage, which is extra and unnecessary work.
The tea itself is absolutely beautiful and you can clearly see rose and other goodies in it. My first comment about this tea is that it only needs to steep for a minute, which is odd. Once you make it, the amber is light to medium in coloring, which makes sense since it has such a quick steep time. The Begamot flavor is the most assertive and I didn’t pick up any floral undertones. I was wondering where the rose flavor was. This would be a nice quick cuppa but I didn’t particularly love this blend. I found it a bit boring, it’s something that I would not buy it again.
