Tis’ the season for starting anew and changing up my skincare routine is something on my fall to-do list. Your skin changes with every season and important to change up your routine or else your skin will not improve. For my fall change up, I’ve decided to try out the L’Oreal Pure-Clay cleanser. I’m obsessed with their L’Oreal Pure-Clay masks and use them on a daily basis, so naturally I knew I needed this.I opted for their purify and mattify cleanser because my t-zone has been super oily and I love matte skin. I’m also hoping this helps clear up my redness.
The packaging isn’t anything special but it gets it’s point across. I do love that the tube is matte versus shiny because it’s less slippery with wet hands and it also photographs better. The texture is just like the masks but it turns sort of foamy once water is added, so it’s sort of weird to apply.
Since I’ve started to use this, I noticed that my skin has become noticeably less red and more even-toned. I also noticed that my face honestly feels so much cleaner since I’ve started using this. However like it’s clay counterpart, it’s takes a bit of extra rinsing to get it off. Also, be careful near the mouth because I promise this product did not taste good.
Overall have I seen results?! Hell yeah, but sadly I didn’t take a before picture so I can give you an after photo because it wouldn’t really help. My t-zone is still a bit oily but it’s a lot less oily then it’s been in a long time. My skin is a bit more matte but the change isn’t that apparent. So my consensus is yes, it sort of worked but I feel like with more time I’ll see more of a change.
Would you try a clay cleanser?
