It’s been quite a bit since my last collaboration with a fellow blogger but I’m back with a collab with my blogger BFF, Patti. Today, A Cruelty-Free Me(Patti) and I are talking all about our experience with Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank’s angled blush brush. We both love Lisa Frank and new make-up brushes, so this was the perfect opportunity to collab. The day we found out about this collection, Patti and I pre-ordered it ASAP. So I’m so excited to share with you our experience with the Lisa Frank Angled Blush Brush.
Patti: I have loved using this brush as a contour and bronzing brush. If you guys missed it, I reviewed the Glamour Dolls Fakecation Bronzer not too long ago. I have been using both products together and they seem like the perfect compliment to one another. The color of the bronzer appears natural enough to build a nice sun kissed look. I apply it in the ‘3’ shape to both sides of my face and I think it looks great, and gives me a beautiful glow. I love that this brush features rose gold, and has pink bristles. I have found that this brush has been easy to clean and is super easy to spot in my mixed pot of brushes.
Becca: When I received my brush it was a bit loose, so I need to screw on top more to secure it. This left me concerned with the quality then again it only cost $5. The design and packaging was super cute. I love how fun and festive the pink-tipped bristles were. The bristles feel a bit stiff on the hand but when you are applying they are not. This is the shape I prefer to use for blush but a lot of people tend to use this as bronzer or even as a contour brush. It picks up pigment really well, which makes it super easy to use. The body of brush was covered in unicorns and let’s be real here, we all know I’m obsessed with unicorns. Not only does it have unicorn there is also some rose gold on there and nothing says Becca quite like unicorns and rose gold! Using this brush honestly brightens up my entire morning. Overall, I like this brush and it was worth the price but I prefer to use my Luxie 504 (Large Angled for blush).
What kind of brushes are you loving right now?
